I Believe

You’ve all heard the song. “I believe, I believe, I believe, oh I believe.”

Don’t we all believe in something? I know that I do. So, here are my beliefs listed in no particular order.

I believe in a better tomorrow.
I believe in second chances.
I believe in taking responsibility.
I believe in growing up.
I believe we are responsible for our own lives and the consequences in our lives.
I believe we are responsible for our actions.
I believe in forgiveness.
I believe in broken hearts healing.
I believe in LOVE.
I believe in smiling, every day, at strangers to brighten their day.
I believe in kissing.
I believe simple and little things are the most meaningful.
I believe that time doesn’t heal everything, but it sure heals a lot.
I believe in prayer. And I believe that God hears each and every one of our prayers.
I believe that nobody is truly ever alone.
I believe in music and lots of it.
I believe that deep down, there is good in everyone, even if it takes awhile to find that good.
I believe in letting go of hurts and grudges.
I believe the happiest people are those who are beautiful not only on the outside, but on the inside as well.
I believe that it takes a lot more effort to be angry than it does to be happy and pleasant, so choose to be the latter.
I believe in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I believe in the innocence of children; it is a beautiful thing.
I believe in taking time out of your busy life for yourself.
I believe in taking risks and taking chances.
I believe in following your dreams.
I believe that friends will come and go, but that family will always be there for you.
I believe that family should always come first, no matter what.
I believe in trying to find common ground.
I believe that differences are what make everyone so interesting.
I believe that being “weird” is a good thing.
I believe that YOU are the best YOU so you should never try to be someone else.
I believe in being true to you.
I believe in vacations.
I believe that everyone is talented in one area or another.
I believe in trying out new things.
I believe confidence makes people beautiful and attractive.
I believe in keeping the past in the past, and focusing on the present and worrying about the future when it gets there.
I believe in planning as well, to an extent.
I believe education is so important.
I believe we can and should learn from others’ mistakes.
I believe in finding happiness and joy.
I believe in doing what makes you happy even if it’s not what everyone else thinks you should be doing.
I believe in being a leader rather than a follower.
I believe in standing up for what you believe in.
I believe in the underdog.
I believe in the power of repentance.
I believe in dancing it out.
I believe in leading an honest life.
I believe in having a clean home.
I believe in being a good example.
I believe in avoiding hypocrisy.
I believe in sunshine.
I believe in being physically fit and taking care of your body.
I believe in taking care of your spirituality and your mind as well.
I believe in treating yourself here and there.
I believe in putting your spouse before yourself.
I believe in service.
I believe in being kind to others.
I believe in hard work.
I believe in being independent and self-sufficient.
I believe in being the best example you can be.
I believe in setting your sights high; for yourself and for others as well.
I believe in less worrying, more living.
I believe in the beauty of nature.
I believe a girl can never have too many shoes or clothes.
I believe in staying strong when it seems like everything is going wrong.
I believe that people can outgrow each other.
I believe that we should live every day like it’s our last.
I believe that God places everyone in our lives for a reason.
I believe in saving for a rainy day.
I believe that God loves me.
I believe in eternal families.
I believe that life goes on after death.
I believe that I am capable.
I believe that I am talented and beautiful.
I believe in myself.
I believe in being the bigger person.
I believe in taking the high road.
I believe in taking the “road less traveled.”
I believe in apologizing first.
I believe in choosing to not take offense.
I believe on focusing on things that truly matter in this life.
I believe that everything happens for a reason.
I believe that we won’t know everything in this life.
I believe in trusting in the Lord with all my heart.
I believe in faith.
I believe in remembering that everyone you meet is fighting a battle.
I believe that everyone deserves love.
I believe that all were created as equals in God’s eyes.
I believe in treating everyone with respect.
I believe in giving everyone the benefit of the doubt.
I believe in making righteous judgments.
I believe in the impossible.
I believe in having standards, morals, and values and holding true to those.
I believe that everyone is vulnerable to something.
I believe in not judging.
I believe that everyone is of worth.
I believe in making a difference for positive in this world.
I believe in helping to lift the burden of someone else.
I believe in random acts of kindness.
I believe in being a friend to all.
I believe in doing your best work, all the time.
